I've put aside the pop for this entry, and instead humbly present Weekend by the brilliant and ridiculous masters of Japanese 80s hard rock- the incomparable X Japan. Try to cast your attention away from the hair and outfits, and instead enjoy the English translation of one of their most accomplished songs. Highlights include speed-of-light shredding on the solo and some deep piano work in the break.
